What's the best way to maximize volume at the end of the day as the sending window closure approaches?
Heavy Volume – End of Day Reminders
Sending Window
-
Campaigns can send between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM local time.
-
Ensure all campaigns are queued well before the 9:00 PM cutoff to avoid missed sends.
MPS (Messages Per Second) Limitations
-
While we can adjust speeds, there are natural throughput limits to consider.
-
Flag heavy-volume clients early so we can plan ahead and maximize sending speed.
Contact List Uploads
-
New contacts must be classified before sending, which can delay campaign start times.
-
If a campaign is stuck in “Pending” or “Scheduling,” this is likely the cause.
-
Upload lists ahead of time whenever possible to minimize delays.
Clickers (Manual Click Execution)
-
Clicks are processed manually, and our team is alerted every 10 minutes (e.g., 12:00, 12:10, 12:20).
-
We work quickly, but please keep the human element in mind during heavy sending periods.
Sending Pipelines
-
One client / one message type: Campaigns send sequentially (one after another).
-
Multiple clients or different message types: These can run simultaneously using separate pipelines.
-
Pro Tip: Distribute volume across multiple clients or message types to maximize throughput.
Time Zone Prioritization
-
Always enable “Time Zone Prioritization” near the cutoff.
-
This ensures messages send east-to-west, reaching as many contacts as possible before 9:00 PM.
-
Note: This must be enabled per campaign each time.
End-Time Adjustment
-
Campaigns can be set to pause at 9:00 PM and automatically resume the next day.
-
Example: If it’s acceptable for a campaign to pick back up at 8:00 AM the following day, simply set the end time to the next day — the system will handle the transition automatically.
