Registration - CTA Template
“By submitting this form and signing up for texts, you consent to receive [MESSAGE TYPE] text messages from [COMPANY NAME]. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Opt-out by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Privacy Policy [LINK] & Terms & Conditions [LINK]. Mobile and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties.
Message Types (Only include one):
** If the campaign is Charity or Political, put “Donations” **
- If they will not be asking for donations, set the message type as "Political” or “Charity” and then include “Donations will not be solicited”.
Other Message Type options include:
- “Polling/Voting”
- “Marketing”
- “Public Service Announcements”
**If it does not fit one of these categories, please reach out to a WC member and they can provide further directions**
COMMON MISTAKES:
- Do not put the word “marketing” in a CTA for a political campaign
- Marketing refers to exchange of goods or services for providers, it is a separate category than political. If you add it, it often slows the approval process down
- Do not include any mention of Shortcode
- This is a 10DLC opt-in, not a shortcode opt-in. Providers will decline campaigns if they see “Text JOIN to #####”
- Donation Disclosures are required only for Political and Charity campaigns
- If the message type is anything else, do not mention donations. It increases the odds of providers declining the campaigns
