What do campaign statuses mean and how do I manage created campaigns?
The following article explains campaign statuses and what each means. It also explains how to manipulate statuses and what each one entails
Draft: campaign is saved but not executed. Campaign can be edited in this status.
Pending: campaign is fully executed but one or more of the selected contact lists are still classifying. Message scheduling will start once contact lists are ready.
Scheduling: campaign messages are currently scheduling.
Scheduled: messages are fully scheduled but the start time of the campaign has not been reached.
Active: campaign has reached the start time. If clickers were selected for this campaign, it will now be visible on the 'Outbox' page.
Sending: campaign is actively sending out messages.
Queued: denotes a multi-day campaign. Campaign is active but is currently outside of the daily sending window (8 AM - 9 PM). The remaining messages will resume sending at 8 AM.
Paused: campaign is paused by either a user or the system (tripwire). It is no longer visible on the 'Outbox' page.
Completed: campaign reached the end date/time and all of the messages were sent out.
Incomplete: campaign reached the end date/time but not all messages were sent out.
Did Not Schedule: campaign failed to schedule for a variety of reasons. Please reach out to our support team for more information.
Grassroots allows you to pause any active campaign in order to make any adjustments or to delete it. This article explains how to pause and resume any campaign.
1. On the navigation sidebar, click on 'Campaigns'.
2. Search for the campaign you want to pause.
3. Click on the three dots for the options menu.
4. Select 'Pause'.
5. Confirm pause.
6. The campaign will now be paused and any agents that are actively sending out messages will be redirected to the 'Outbox' page. Any scheduled messages will not go out.
7. To resume a paused campaign, click on the three dots for the options menu and select 'Resume'.
8. Confirm that you want to resume the campaign.
9. If a campaign was in a 'Sending' status, system will resume the message sending. If a campaign was in the 'Active' status, the system will mark is as 'Active' and it will be visible in the 'Outbox'.
Please note: system will only allow you to resume a campaign that hasn't reached its end date/time.
Grassroots allows you to delete paused campaigns only. If you wish to delete a campaign, you should first pause it. This article explains how to delete a campaign.
1. On the navigation sidebar, click on 'Campaigns'.
2. Search for a paused campaign.
3. Click the three buttons for options menu.
4. Select 'Delete'.
5. Confirm deletion.
6. System will delete the campaign and remove it from the 'Campaigns' page.
Grassroots allows you to clone any campaign in the system. This article explains how to clone a campaign.
1. On the navigation sidebar, click on 'Campaigns'.
2. Click on the three dots for options menu.
3. Select 'Duplicate'.
4. The system will navigate you to the first page of campaign creation.
Please note: 'Campaign Name', 'Contact List' and 'External Id' fields will clear out on the duplicate operation.
