How do I create and manage custom data points in Iris?

You can include any additional data points on a contact by creating custom data points. This article explains how to add custom data points.

1.  On the navigation side panel, click on 'Segments' tab.

2.  Click on 'Custom Data Points' sub-tab.

3.  Click 'Add Custom Data Point'.

4.  Fill out all necessary fields.

5.  Click 'Save'. 

6.  To add the custom data point to message personalization, check 'Personalized' checkbox and enter a default value.  The default value is used for when a contact doesn't have the specific custom data.
