How do I add in a health check number in Grassroots?

Health checks allow you to send out a test message on a campaign to preview the message as well as see potential campaign deliverability. Before a health check can be complete, you will need to add phone numbers and assign them to either a specific client or all clients. This article explains how to add a health check number.

Health checks allow you to send out a test message on a campaign to preview the message as well as see potential campaign deliverability.  Before a health check can be complete, you will need to add phone numbers and assign them to either a specific client or all clients.  This article explains how to add a health check number. 

1.  On the navigation sidebar, click on 'Contacts' tab.

2.  Select 'Health Check Numbers'. 

3.  Click on the 'Add' button.

4.  Fill out name, number, and select a client you want the number assigned to.

5.  Click on the 'Save' button.  

6.  The number is now assigned to the client and will receive health check messages going forward.

Please note:  you are able to assign a number to either a single or all clients.  

Grassroots allows you to set custom data defaults for test messages.  This article explains how to add custom test data.

1.  On the navigation sidebar, click on 'Contacts'.

2.  Select 'Contact Lists'.

3.  Click on the 'Test Message Data'.

4.  Click 'Add'. 

5.  Fill out the name of the custom data point you want to add a default for and enter the value.

6.  Click on the 'Save' button.

7.  System will now replace any matching custom data point on all test messages, across all clients.
